Mozart's Coffee Roasters - $
An Austin classic on Lake Austin, Mozart’s Coffee Roasters pairs house-roasted coffee and pastries with unbeatable waterfront views and a relaxed, scenic atmosphere. One of Mel's favorite spots!

Barton Springs Pool - $5
Admission $5 (buy online or at the pool kiosks). A refreshing 68 degrees year round, our favorite place to relax & swim, a true Austin gem!

Peter Pan Mini-Golf $11/pp
Open since 1948, a very fun and easy Mini-Golf course located a short walk from the Hyatt and Embassy Suites with
a funky Austin vibe. Bonus: it's BYOB!

Butler Hike & Bike Trail - FREE
A scenic 10 mile loop around the river and through the heart of downtown Austin. Walk, Run or Rent bikes from Barton Springs bike rental or docking stations along the trail.

Zilker Park - FREE
Another Austin gem, 350 acre public park with unmatched skyline views. Located across the road from Barton Springs Pool and along the banks of the bike trail.

South Congress Shopping (Free - $$$)
A vibrant shopping area located just up the road from both the Hyatt and the Embassy Suites. A mix of old and new Austin with designer brands at the bottom, and classic older businesses up top. Allen's Boots is a must-visit for an authentic taste of Texas!

Austin Public Library - FREE
A must-see downtown gem, the Austin Public Library offers striking modern architecture, cozy reading spaces, and a serene rooftop garden with sweeping views of the city. A short walk from hotels!

Terry Black's BBQ - $$ - $$$
A legendary Austin stop, Terry Black’s BBQ serves up mouthwatering Central Texas brisket, ribs, and sides in a lively setting that captures the city’s deep barbecue roots.
It's pricey but worth every penny!

Veracruz Tacos - $ - $$
Veracruz All Natural serves its famous, fresh-made tacos—especially the migas—in a vibrant lakeside setting that locals and visitors love. Located at the LINE Hotel, just across the bridge from the Hyatt.

Taqueria De Diez (10/10) - $ -$$
A local favorite in Austin, Taqueria 10/10 delivers bold, no-frills tacos packed with flavor, from perfectly seasoned meats to fresh tortillas that live up to the name. Tip: It's a speak-easy so go down the alley & through the bar, look for silver door.

Desnudo Coffee
A beloved Austin coffee stop, Desnudo Coffee is known for its ethically sourced beans, expertly crafted drinks, and laid-back outdoor vibe that makes it perfect for lingering. Located just across the Congress Avenue bride in the Fareground Food Hall.
